Hanzhang Ren (任含章) is a PhD student of Sociology. His research interest lies in the sociology of knowledge. He wants to know how people create, spread, learn, unlearn, manage, and use information in a knowledge economy that may seem to have entered a post-truth era. He studies the sociology of education, the sociology of science and technology, social theories, social science research methods, and other domains where knowledge plays a central role. Hanzhang received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Princeton University, with certificates in French Language and Culture as well as Statistics and Machine Learning. In his free time, he curates a Spotify playlist with more than 500 songs.
