Ethan McAvoy
Research Assistant
Ethan is a coterminal student in sociology and political science, with focuses in political theory and the ongoing legacy of American union organizing. He's interested in the causes and consequences of imbalanced social relationships. In his undergraduate thesis, he argued that landlord-tenant relationships are particularly vulnerable to exploitation of tenants by landlords, especially as housing costs continue to dramatically outpace wages. Long-term, he wants to legally represent unions and workers who are attempting to unionize, but in the meantime he's cheering from the sidelines.
